Have you ever played or owned any GameCube or Wii games? If so , I recommend you check these two Virtual Console Wii games: Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. Both games are only 20$ and Metroid Prime Trilogy comes with the three Metroid games as the title suggests! The game will require you to use the Wii and Nunchuck controller even though the first two came out on GameCube but the IR pointing is really great after a small learning curve!

The white model is definitely getting scarce so if you are comfortable with that price then BUY IT!

You know a lot about its strengths and weaknesses but are still on the fence so Id suggest waiting till E3 this year. There definitely wont be a Pokemon RPG (sadly) but E3 will atleast confirm or disprove your fears of the NX.

IMO, the Wii U is a great console and you will definitely have great fun with it.

Considering your comment you have enough content you are interested. I'll wait for E3 to see new announcements and more footage on other games. Also, nobody can rule out a price cut.

Yeah, i think i should wait for E3. But i'm very tempted by the 179$ price. I really don't know.

Much fun to be had, and I doubt the price will drop anytime soon. I can't see you regretting it.

Here is your answer, Metroid Trilogy is just plain amazing & even better with the Wiimote controls!

Also, i want to add that i was thinking about the 3DS too instead of a wii u. but i'm not into handhelds that much anymore. but it has pokemon which i love. Also, Fire emblem, luigis mansion and monster hunter 4. But it's more expensive than the wii u! plus it has inferior versions of smash and mario kart.

For that price, definitely.
