Only PC has been confirmed so far, with Frozenbyte telling us to "stay tuned" for news on other platforms, but both Trine 2 and Trine: Enchanted Edition were ported to Wii U, and Frozenbyte have said they were pleased with their sales on Wii U, so I'd say there's  a decent chance.

Also while it looks fantastic, I don't think its something that is beyond the realm of possibility for Wii U. The style of 3D is almost like setpiece 3D like SM3DW, and not like a Galaxy game.

Trine 2 is the fourth best selling game on the eshop in my country (third actually, one of them isn't a game). Which is pretty impressive come to think of it. Only beaten by Wind Waker HD and Super Mario World. How is it ranked in the USA?

I actaully didn't even know there was an all time best sellers list available for eshop. Where did you find this info?

On the ranking list. It's not hard to find, unless it's a Europe only thing.

The scope, animation, and destructibility physics have been improved over previous Trine games, but yeah, besides the usual trim to 720p, it doesn't look like anything Wii U couldn't handle, at least not to my untrained eyes.
