Neogaf? I never bothered with it since VGC is too awesome.

That's one of the problems with VGC. There's too many subsections, and the majority of them are dead. Besides, everyone just posts in the official threads dedicated to that section.

As for Gaf, I  loved it for the active community. It's one of the few places you can discuss niche games with other players for a long time.

The best thing about GAF is the off topic and community sections, mixed in with the industry insiders and leakers.

The general gaming discussion is poor for the first few pages of a thread, not down to the community themselves but because of the sheer number of people who frequent the forums.

I like it because its more active and more diverse. I'm fond of its PC gaming community in particular. I also like its UI because its simple and clean (I use the black theme). Its mobile site is awesome too because of the async refresh button. It also helps that console war threads are rare, which is surprising given the amount of people on it.

It'll take a while but youll get there eventually!

What is this async refresh button?  I assume just something that refeshes the page?
