I'm not a designer, but I will say, I just like the overall look of this website better. A lot of the topics are thrown at you all at once too. I think the tools are better judging from what some of the threads do look like (the ones that have a lot of effort, like the Halo thread, look really good).

Neogaf uses too much white space as well and I like being able to express myself through my avatar and signature. 

If you have a topic (like music) to talk about you would be able to post in the off topic section. The community threads are for meeting a community that likes what you like and you can discuss that topic without anything else detracting from said thread. Like the XboxEmpire here.

GAF's offtopic section has a bunch of individual relationship help threads for instance.

Let's see how long they take to even approve of my account.

Took me like 8 months.  I was posting today to try and become a full member and got banned for 7 days.  I accidentally necrobumped a thread lol Apparently they dont like that there :P  I was just asking how to become a full member

Yeah.  Even though i got banned for 7 days i learned it was 300 posts.  Thats a lot before being allowed to make your own threads.  NOt a fan of that

I think they are going to permaban me... I once tried over the Summer to join using my old college email.. 

I never checked if I got approved then, since my email account got locked out due to change in college. 

Now I'm using another college email.. xD I'm hoping if they accept me, I can just email a mod and tell them if the other account is there to just lock that one.
