It's only got gaming discussion and off topic stuff. Nothing is broken down in to smaller categories. Here on VGC you have separate sections for things like Sony or Nintendo discussion. You even have separate off topic sections for things like music or movies so you know where to look for threads on certain things.

Well I think that's a bad thing. I don't want one single thread on a a whole diverse topic. I want individual threads for specific things. If I wanted to discuss a certain kind of music or a certain artist or something I'd want an individual thread for it not just a generic 'music thread' where any posts will be lost within seconds.

If you have a topic (like music) to talk about you would be able to post in the off topic section. The community threads are for meeting a community that likes what you like and you can discuss that topic without anything else detracting from said thread. Like the XboxEmpire here.

GAF's offtopic section has a bunch of individual relationship help threads for instance.
