Look at the sales of the Crash games..

That was kinda my point, they never touched Mario or Sonic. Good games? Sure. Sales juggernaught? Don't think so :

Well technically they're Activision characters. 

While that's true, you don't really see Nintendo's image when you think of Crash, you see Sony's image

Yes I know there are. I'd much rather have my boy Isaac in smash, or a Wonder character, or Bayonetta. But Crash is a character I think everyone would be fine with.

I would say everyone but a lot of Nintendo fans


Which is stupid. I love Nintendo and I consider myself a "Nintendo fanboy" However, Crash is a character that pretty much every Nintendo gamer grew up with. Even though he wasn't on Nintendo systems.

They sold 40.10m in total with the highest selling game selling 7.58m. That's pretty good if you ask me.

Sure they didn't reach Mario or Sonic, nothing really reaches those two. (besides Pokemon)
