Forums - Nintendo - WHY have I not seen any #CrashforSmash? Or even Spyro?

You guys. Seriously. Nothing else needs to be said. If ANY character, regardless of origin*, has the chance to be in Smash Bros, why have I not seen any Crash Bandicoot? He was one of the most relevant characters back in the day along with Mario, Sonic and Spyro.

 

These four characters were practically the focus of a lot of games back then. Wouldn't it be nice to see both Crash and Spyro in Smash? Those two characters are freaking amazing and I miss BOTH of them. However, I think it would be cooler to have Crash in. Spyro would be a nice additon to though. #CrashforSmashs,

EDIT: Yes, I know he isn't a Nintendo character. (Which is why I posted regardless of their origin*) They don't  have to be Nintendo. I would rather see other characters from Nintendo in Smash, but Crash was pretty awesome and I'm sad he was abandoned. But I think it would #1, please a lot of fans/people #2, convince Sony fans to buy a Wii U/Smash Bros

While I think Crash would fit really well into Smash, I would much rather see other characters. I also think Crash is very overrated and was never really as popular as people think he was. There's a reason Nintendo let Rare go.

Cause Smash Bros is about characters on Nintendo platforms, not Sony ones... There are over 100s of characters of characters on Nintendo platforms deserve to go on ssb before any Sony characters do... Sony has Playstation All Stars for that

Yes I know there are. I'd much rather have my boy Isaac in smash, or a Wonder character, or Bayonetta. But Crash is a character I think everyone would be fine with.

It certainly wasn't because all those Crash games Rare didn't develop sold multi million amounts of copies.

 

I guess he would fit. And he also fullfils the prerequesite off third party characters in Smash, they need to be irrelevant for at least a decade before going to Smash. This is why Snake was cut. They realized he didn't fit.
