Smells like a big pile of BS and this kind of stuff just pisses me off when it's a sequel you really want.

RDR was fun for a while. But the story wasn't interesting enough to see me through the entire game, and the gameplay wasn't fun enough for me to continue on and ignore the story. And as always I have zero interest in multiplayer.

So RDR2 only raises mild interest from me at this point. Telling Seth and Irish's backstories has some interest, but only if they can make them interesting, and for the characters to be at least a bit sympathetic. Seth's story could be quite an emotional ride if done right, or it could be a complete disaster if it is a paint by numbers tale of gold fever.

Honestly, why do this for 7th-gen platforms too?

i just hope it revealed this E3. and released as soon as possible. reading the details, it doesnt sound like what rockstar would do though. every GTA game stands on its own and isnt connected with the previous ones, i feel rockstar would do the same with RDR.

I don't believe a word of this. It just seems so unambitious. Same area, re-using characters, just doesn't seem to add up to me

I hope this is true. Playing with Seth would be cool. I can only imagine how good it would be to hunt animals in a co-op play.

I guess they did mean 8th. I'm still used to them referring to 7th as "current."

I'll remain highly skeptical but cautiously excited at any news about a sequel. I trust R* to deliver.

The whole "PC release one month after consoles" thing looks like confirmation this is fake.
