Why not 20 cutscenes of 20 minutes each one?

You can have both.
It's bigger than Super Mario 3D World, and that game kept me busy for months with its content. Splatoon should be even more time consuming given the online multiplayer.
At first, I didn't like the game. Now I'm excited for it. If this is bigger than Super Mario 3D World, then I bet it's packed with content.
Slay me, EAD 2.
Nintendo's are masters of compressing their games, people should realize this by now o.o

This gen just shows that no one but Nintendo give a crap about compression, I look at Titanfall with it;s massive uncompressed audio (which actually faults with the PC version), Shadow of Mordor, GTA V etc.
At least last gen and the one before file sizes weren't so out of shape, at least Splatoon is of a good size, albeit a rare one.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Metal Gear Solid 4
I know it is without a lot of the normal frills that fill games from most major publishers these days like extensive voice acting, cinemas and the like. But I hope to get it to that size, Nintendo didn't skimp out on other potential features like several different arenas, levels, secrets and all sort of unlockable stuff that could have made this game a classic.
It has a uphill climb as is, the last thing it needs is Nintendo short changing some of its features to save space or cash.
