SSB Franchise, Who Says There Arent Many Nintendo Characters Left To Choose From? Road to 100 Characters that Could be Playable!

(ONLY NINTENDO CHARACTERS, get that through your heads!!! XD)

Dont know how many times i heard that SSB as a franchise is already at its limit in terms of playable characters. As of now in SSB4 there are 51 playable characters (including Lucas+Mewtwo). There are at least 50 candidates that are easily possible, with more that are almost unknown to many gamers.

This thread with continuing ones will showcase playable candidates that could be in SSBU or future games!

Lets Start off with the first 10 nintendo characters, then onward to Road of 100 playable characters!

Ok im going to do 10 characters per thread so 10 in total, added the DK franchise characters and Balloon Fighter+Dillon.

I dont want to burn this out by doing it daily so maybe every 4-5 days? Depending. I just thought it be a cool idea to let people knowthere are many characters to still choose from and/or more deserving to be in the game especially over third parties such as Bayo/Shovel Knight/etc. (not saying they wouldn't be awesome of course)

90 more characters to go. tbh i'll have to do research, i think i have about 35-40 in the top of my head but i know i could do 100. This list with characters that number 10 have at least 5 most dont know about! :)

How about the knight from ghosts and goblins? Forgot his name but he was fun... Though I suppose he'd be naked in under a second.

How's about the Battletoads?

Can you post the games they're from? Also has to be Nintendo Characters, meaning owned by them. Ithink Battle Toads is from rare right?

Edit: yeah it was rare which is owned now by Microsoft. Same boat as Banjo Kazooie http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battletoads

Ah sorry.

The only reason I mentioned Battletoads is Phil spencer mentioned he was fine with seeing rare characters in SSB games.

Unfortunately the ghosts and goblins franchise is owned by capcom so Sir Arthur isn't Nintendo, though capcom does obviously allow characters in SSB.
