Joe though he is an ass just pointed out nintendo's incompetence at getting with the times they live in. Nothing but the truth there.

Honestly it is a joke that his fans crowd funded his Wii U. A guy with 2 million subscribers and one that gets more than a million views on all his videos couldn't spend 500 bucks from his own pocket...

$300 (and that includes a good game). He even lies in the vid that he bought it himself, this guy shouldn't be taken serious by anyone. He's just playing his subscribers.

Why did he make a Mario Party 10 vid? He knew it was going to be claimed.

Just to garner more views for his dumb vids I suppose.

I do think that Nintendo is making a mistake because I feel like they would benefit a lot more than lose if they allowed Youtubers to make videos, but yeah I question Angry Joe's motives. He has had his Nintendo videos claimed before. Nintendo did not change any policy so why would they leave his video this time. He's either very dumb or he's trying to get attention. The latter seems a lot more likely.

Angry Joe is just giving free advertisement. FREE Advertisement. People watch his video's, get excited about a game, and go buy it. I do it all the time with channels I enjoy. Why silence him?

Pretty sad to see Nintendo fans blindly support a horrible policy, just because it's Nintendo. I understand backing your company when there is good reason, but there is no defense here, which is evident with the countless personal attacks pointed at Joe. Face it, this is nothing but further evidence that Nintendo is stuck in the past and in their own stubbornness to not change for the future.

They thought the gaming community wanted a new Wii, even when the sharp decline of its sales at the halfway point should have let them know that audience was gone. Smart gamers on here saw that a mile away. Instead of changing their goals for a console, they basically released Wii 2. A console with a gimmicky controller, power slightly above last gen, and the cheapest price. Still didn't have a great online infrastructure, even though it was obvious it was the way gaming was going, just good enough to get them by. Now where is it? Barely past 10M sales after being on the market for over 2 years. Not even the incredibly expensive PS3 floundered this poorly.

And yet, the Nintendo fans continue to blindly follow them, instead of crying out for them to change. Personally attacking anyone who opposes the great N. Lot of good that did the Wii U. And it's not going to help the NX, either. Not against a $199 PS4 (which I'm sure the NX will only be slightly more powerful than, if it's a home console) and the looming PS5. It's time to demand change, Ninty fans. Otherwise, Nintendo will truly go the way of Sega. Especially, if the handheld market decreases even more next gen.

Actually, no, the law is not necessarily on their side.  Many let's plays would fall under commentary or  arody, especially the edited down version Joe had.  Which would place them under fair use.  Nintendo has also claimed news videos that used pics or video clips from their games, seen that first hand.  Again, all fair use.  And in these instances, Nintendo is vulnerable to a lawsuit.  And I get that this is the YouTube system allowing for passive abuse of power Nintendo still has its responsibilities under the law.  

And would people stop saying that Joe's fans crowd funded him a Wii U? ONE guy donated the money for the BUNDLE ALONE to get him a Wii U with OUT OF THE BLUE with no request or implication of demand for Nintendo content coverage.  And Joe saying he bought x, y, z is simply not some scandalous lie.  For goodness sake donations are part of his revenue; that plus the ad revenue are used to buy most everything he uses on the show in some form.  And by the way, he has done and will continue to do Nintendo coverage on Twitch.  So stop with the ad hominem attacks.  Seriously guys, take a darn chill pill.

As a Nintendo fanboy: he's right. We need to stup up, admit it, and voice our concerns to Nintendo.
