Just buy the Wii version if you're lucky enough to find it at a reasonable price. It's much better. Even more, if you have a decent PC that can handle Dolphin you can play a great jrpg with charming visuals.

I know it's a slight downgrade of the original, but there's no JRPG like it on the 3DS period. 87 is a high score, but the thing deserves better. It's literally the most impressive game - tech wise - on the system. That's how it should be compared.

One of the largest open worlds period and arguably the best JRPG of last generation gets a B+ because the portable version looks too portable. Gimme a break.

Still surprised to see such good scores. My guess was from 82-87 so it's nice to see this game get rated so well.

Me too. I was about to say that I found the high scores surprising, and then I had a big Deja Vu feeling.

Anything 80+ warrants heavy attention, imo. Especially if it's in the high 80s or 90s. I will be picking this up for sure, and my 3DS will be on constantly from all the RPG action (currently playing Bravely Default).

Looking forward to buying this next week.

Just now playing the Wii version, don't think I'll pick it up. I hear the scaling isn't that great or something.
