Why would I rewrite an article? That's a bit of an odd thing to say:

You didn't add anything in about PC towards the end.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

What? This article is about the PS4. I just cut and pasted it.

The PS5 Exists.

Oh, it's turned into a PC thread. That's novel.

Yeah. This is kinda annoying. It's nothing new.

Guys, cut it out with the generalizations and digs. Also this thread is about Dark Souls II so let's stay on topic, this is not the place to start a debate about PC gaming. If you want to do that, then start your own thread.

It's a great game, Dark Souls 2. I have about 300 hours clocked so far. I'm playing through Bloodborne still (my play time is incredibly limited) but when I complete it I'll pick up the PC upgrade for $20.00

It's got the best multiplayer of all the Souls style games bar-none and the DLC areas are quite awesome. I'm curious to see the new enemy placement and the new Forlorn NPC

How modest of you to not include the other version and have the gall to call it a PC thread.

How novel of you.

Easy, Chazore.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I really wish they did a collection with the first Dark Souls.

The PC version came out 2 days ago. I bought it through the upgrade path. And it runs on max settings, 60fps. On a 4+ year old computer. I'm struggling to understand how/why it doesn't run the same on the XBone and PS4.

The thing is, it runs at 60fps on console too, ~99% time on PS4 and ~94% time on XB1 (and that was from some of the worst moments selected in one video).

Are you sure it runs 100% of the time at 60fps on your PC? Have you analysed it with a special software tool on several hours of gaming? Can you notice short frame drops when you are really busy fighting a boss?

That's really the problem with PC gamers. They think that their games run 100% time at 60fps when usually it's far from being the case as there are almost always minimun fps drops under 60fps but they fail to notice them and compare those subjective findings to console frame rate stress videos where only the worst moments are shown on the video.

Wow.  Really? Yes I'm sure.  Steam has an FPS counter.  It does not drop below 60FPS while in the game.  Ever. During boss fights, in big open areas.  You name it.  I've noticed it go to 45 on the loading screen. Once.  Read up on things before you go generalizing about an entire group of gamers.

Are some people on here so insecure that they must ALWAYS pick a side no matter what the conversation is about? Why is it that the second someone mentions something about performance, people go on the defensive?

Well on consoles yes PS4 is the best to play DS2.
