No. You're trying to use Mystery Dungeon and Crystal as a basis. I get were you're going. But both things done in the past were different than what you propose for today. By the time Crystal was made an exclusive to Gameboy Color. The original Gameboy was 13 years old. The Gameboy Light failed. And the Gameboy Pocket was out for 4 years. With not much care in the first place. Moving it over to the GBC was fine. No one cared anymore about the GB versions. And you didn't lose the ability to play or use R/G/B/Y/G/S with the game. The 3DS is only 4 years old. Different mind set.

Mystery D is an OFFSHOOT. Ultimately people don't care about those. And won't go up in arms about it. I didn't even buy MD Red, till like last year. And I own 90% of the Pokemon games. And I never bothered with the DS version (I don't like MD). It's a game series a lot of people don't really care about. So again, no problem. People will be happy to ignore it.

N3DS blocking a main game. Weather it's a sequel or Z is irrelevant. It will cause massive hate and uproar. And get people to hate the N3DS even more. I wouldn't buy it. I'm not using over $200 to play one game. I'd end up waiting for the next real handheld. Than go buy it. If the next handheld isn't BC. Well than I'd never buy it.

Well there would have to be differences, otherwise it be no point :)

I wouldn't mind a new N3DS exclusive pokemon game, I mean X & Y were exclusive to 3DS and being a fan of the franchise I then went and bought a 3DS, all I'd want is for the new Pokemon game to take advantage of the hardware to the fullest, no silly gimmicks, just take advantage of the new tech and I'm happy.

I really think they should.

The N3DS is expanding the systems life span to hold bigger and better games. We just need to know how far Devs want to go in spending more time developing these bigger and better games - even somewhat on par with Xenoblade.

We're in for a treat, and don't hate on Pkmn on N3ds. We need to revolutionize that series.
