Now, I seriously need to play Fire Emblem Awakening. I need to learn these characters.

Every character we've seen thus far seems to be from the 1, 2, 4 and 13 timeline, hope we get other characters as well. I will be seriously disappointed if we see no Lyn.

Yea, I actually don't mind that they used Persona as the template for the gameplay. And never really had a problem with the trailer except a few super over the top designs but that's whatever I guess.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is my favorite (original) game on the 3DS.

Do it. Best game for the 3DS alongside Bravely Default.

And since she is from the same FE as Marth is and she is his childhood friend, it might be a safe bet that the "daemon"



is Marth

Do you think the main characters are also Fire Emblem characters? I have a feeling that most of the cast is original, so I think that's just the main girl in her "magical costume."

Pretty hard to tell from the info we got really but there could be a varity of possibilities! Maybe the main character's have ancestors from the SMT and FE timeline and either they gain powers/abilities when the daemons invade from their ancestors or maybe their ancestors come through some sort of a portal and together with their ancestors, the main characters fight off the daemons or lots of other things. I havn't played enough of either franchise to really look for a lot of resemblance but I do think my assumtion to her looking like Shiida will be connected in the main story some way

I am just throwing shit at the wall of course but I would keep an eye out for GameXplain's analysis of this cause that should be exciting

Also, according to the trailer, apparently the ESRB expects this game to be rated Mature. This ain't yo daddy's Fire Emblem.
