The game comes with single campaign, battle dojo, turf mode and splat zones. But it only has 5 maps online. They are going to release more maps through the summer, they announced 8 more, also they are going to release more gear and weapons on the same period, and on August there will be a major update that will unlock 2 new online modes (tower control and rainmaker) and some new options (like customizable matches). The game will grow following the same path on the future, wich is very promising. Also they announced the first big event just 3 weeks after the release. And of course, those updates and dlc are free.

Doesn't bother me none. I have almost 10 games on my Wii U and I've only beaten 2. Or 1 and a half, because I haven't gotten 1st position in all the DLC tracks yet

This. The game is already available for preloading on the Wii U as we speak.
