It's so jarring that some people can connect to MK8 online fine and others can't. I don't want to rub it in but MK8 online for me has been smooth 9/10. I hope the update helps others experience that too.

This is great!
It completely changes the mechanics of the game. The fact you need to use the brake for corners is a pretty big change for Mario Kart.
