The screen is smaller. An intel Atom processer. Keep in mind that the type cover (130$) and the pen (50$) aren't included.


Its still cheaper than an iPad air with the same storage. And then of course this has better specs and runs full windows...

iPads have had their day - never touch mine any more. Sales are falling and will continue to fall.

I'm waiting for the pro 4 or I might just get the new lenovo yoga which is very very good.


What are Surface v. iPad sales recently?

Also, I thought iPad sales took a hit from Apple themselves with the larger iPhone 6+ cannibalizing that market?

Side note: Surface Pro for work travel and it is fine device for what need it to do. I can't imagine doing reports without a keyboard.

I already have a 512gb Surface pro 3 i7 that Tamron picked up for me in December!

My ownly qualms really is that they reply on the inbuilt gpu on the cpu core itself, I'd have liked a seperate nvidia/amd mobile gpu tossed in, i would happily sacrifice battery life for gpu compute and a bit more gaming performance.

Even still, i'd take a windows tablet over an android tablet, and if not an android tablet then nothing, ipads are trash.

That thing must have cost a pretty penny. Price is the only reason I haven't gotten a Pro 3. I can spend that kind of money on a superior gaming rig and just use my Android for "on the go" stuff.

Though I still want a Pro 3 bad.
