So many people have not even considered the possibility that NX could be a handheld.

Actually, yes. Many and most consider NX a handheld. Others just deny it and know that the NX is the successor of the Wii U, even as far as knowing the launch date and line up.

OT: I'm more baffled by the name "Guy". This guy knows as much as us.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Silly analyst. He conveniently glosses over XCX and Star Fox.

Eh. I can see those titles selling less than 3 million worldwide. Combined.

hether the NX is a handheld or home console? I'm expecting the former.

NX could be either or both. I know they played around with the fusion console idea. Even if it isn't console-like, Nintendo has some huge holes in release windows on Wii U and there's little reason to believe there's a lot more in the tank based on Nintendo's past actions.

Nintendo isn't Sega. They are aware of the consequences of cutting a console's life short. The last games will come out in 2017/2018 with a new console reveal in 2017 most likely.

Did the Gamecube and Wii not exist? Both were put out to the woodshed.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

He doesn't even define what he classifies as soon.

Never even heard of this guy. Some "Expert" he is if no one knows who he is.

Also on another note just because Zelda Wii U isn't coming out this winter doesn't mean that the Wii U lineup is completely barren. He is obviously forgetting Star Fox and who knows what new titles Nimtendo is going to announce at E3 or even in tomorrows direct! Being pessimistic about everything will get this industry nowhere fast.

people are laughing because he said something stupid, regardless of what people want to hear.

How many big budget games do you expect from Nintendo after Zelda? Take a wild guess.

That depends on zelda release date and the definition of big budget game. What I do expect is that 2016 will have about the same game output as 2015 and it will slow down a lot in 2017.

It's fair to reason that the U is getting an early death given the low quantity of releases this year.

so, more releases than last year = low quantity = early death?

Dude makes a very valid point.

Announcing a new console while the Wii U is still selling?

Time to think logically.
