PSP Go hands-down! The first real gaming device to merge handheld and home console together.

Plays all PSP/PS1/NES/SNES/GB/GBA games. (of course with proper emulation), plays videos & mp3. Had PS Store support *not the bed but still, if only Sony supported their digital games back then as they do now it would've been more impressive.

To my memory, the first digital-only gaming device and the first gaming device with the ability to hook up to your TV and play on the big screen with a DS3 controller. None of that Vita cross buy stuff needing 2 separate consoles, and possibly what Nintendo is/should be looking to do next)

Classic Handheld Football...

Couldn't get an image to stick...

I played the crap out of those and all the Tiger games. They really deserve to be in this list.

Although not really.

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

Probably 3DS due to sheer content but I will always fondly remember my time with the GBA. Had so much fun with that console.

The GB because of nostalgia. It was the first gaming console I owned.

Games I owned:

Tetris
Pokémon Red
Pokémon Blue (sister)
Pokémon Yellow
Pokémon Silver
Super Mario Land 1
Super Mario Land 2
Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land
A Street Fighter game
A game where you raced on motorbikes and could hit people with a bat.

That's all I remember. Mostly played Pokemon of course.

PSP hands down. It was revolutionary for its time. It could play games, browse the web, watch movies, and play music a few years before smartphones even existed! Tons of great games too.

After the PSP I would just say the Gameboy Color.

This you could also do on a ds with a simple cartridge...

Please don't make me laugh.  Like I want to watch movies on that garbage screen or browse the laggiest web browser on Earth years after the PSP was doing it from day 1.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

The PSP doesn't do any of those things well either. Who the hell watches movies on such a tiny screen with poor resolution? Who uses the PSP to browse the internet when there were much better options?

I LOVE Nintendo but no portable gaming device has ever given me the joy that my PSP did in its prime.

I did.  I still have a library of movies converted to PSP format.  I think the last one I did was Premium Rush before I retired it.  I thought it was awesome!

For 2004 it had an  excellent screen with great colors and nearly 3x the resolution of the DS.  Back then there weren't any portable options besides bulky laptops.

So if you loved the DS, good for you.  But please don't try to pretendthe DS is anything it wasn't or downplay the clear advantages the PSP had over it.

Thank you.  Some one else gets it.  I had Black Hawk down, and a bunch of other TV shows and movies like arrested development.
