Hmmm, honestly, not really. I enjoy the unique gameplay of capturing the pokemon, but it doesn't offer much depth and story. I'm more lax in assessing it since I'm a Pokemon fanboy. If you are interested, then I bet one is super cheap on the DS; if you like Pokemon spin offs, it's at least worth trying out.
