They say only games to be released in 2015 will be shown at e3, zelda is not being shown at e3 therefore it won't be released in 2015 get it.

Yeah. All that statement rules out is games that are being released in 2016 won't be shown. And Zelda is undecided.

The follow up PR from Nintendo says Zelda U will not be released in 2015 and could even go beyond 2016-   So they are not even committing to 2016 release

Around the Network

I just don't understand why we won't be seeing any of it at E3.. We got a visual of what it was last year given a trailer, and what they could at least do is expand a bit in the areas of the game and show us what they have so far. Of course, if it's not ready then it's not ready.

It's just strange how we saw footage last year at the gamer's conference, and now we won't be seeing any at E3.

whats to entertain? its coming straight from the horse's mouth. Hell this is kinda smart that way if it slips into 2017 they dont look like liars.

Edit: the fact that they are even saying this should quell any hope of it releasing early next year.

From what it seems, there might have been quite the change during development that is major enough that Nintendo does not want the public to see the WIP of the project so far. What that change is, I suppose we'll see when the game is shown off again. That is really the only reason I can think of for Zelda not being at E3 (and the delay as well) despite the show last year.
