So this summer apart from finally buying a Ps4, I'm thinking about a handheld to go along my brand new console. I'm still undecided about what handheld on the market I should get, so I reaslly want your guys help to make this decision. Below I listed some plus points to why I want to buy that handheld console.

1. 3DS ( Either a 2DS or New 3DS Xl ( I don't have a charger though ) : Games I want to play ( Super smash brothers, Mario Kart 7, Luigi's mansion ( Various others though their not on top of the priority list ) that's about it for the 3DS, I really want to hear your tips on the Pros which this little handheld has.

2. PsVita ( Remote Play, Games I want to Play ( Bunch of Ps2 ports, The amazing Spider-man, Uncharted, Killzone ), Good bright screen )

Here is the thing. First off, Remote Play is not a good reason for Vita. It doesnt have enough buttons to do Remote Play well. If youre going to get a handheld for Remote Play then id recommend the Nvidia Shield Portable.

On the other side of things the Vita is a great console when it comes to niche games like Danganronpa, Tales of Hearts, Persona, and Disgaea. Plus you can play all the PSP games. Uncharted Golden Abyss is good as well.

3DS however offers things like you said and Kid Icarus and Pokemon being my favorites.

Both consoles are great so it really is about what games you like. Hardware would def be the Vita, it really does feel amazing. But software can go either way depending on who you ask

What Jay said and if you have PS+ you reap more benefits.

Also, make a list of games that interest you from both handhelds and decide which list you desire more.

I have a feeling we will see a new Nintendo handheld soon.
But if you wanna play pokemon/zelda and everything else 3ds has to offer. go for it
The Vita has the ability to play psOne/psp and vita games, there are a lot of games to choose from and the library is only growing.
I use my vita to play a lot of psOne games!
P4G, FreedomWars, Uncharted, Killzone, LBP, Wipeout, Gravity Rush are all games that are worth playing( and there are even more)
ps+ is also great, as you don't have to buy most of the games, you get them because you already have a ps4!!!
on my 3ds I only play Pokemon and Zelda :) though its great.

I use my Vita the most, but you decide what you wanna play :D

Depends what you want to play more.  For me the 3DS has way more games I want to play, just make a list of the games you want from each and then decide which you want.

^this. They have completely different libraries so it will probably come down to that.

I feel like you are going to get the Vita anyway but I say the new3ds because it has the most amount of exclusives that can't be played anywhere else and the 3ds charger doesn't really cost much at all

I personally like the 3DS better but really it comes down to which one you would play more :P

Both are good, have there pros and cons, so it really depends on you. Nothing wrong with choosing either..

I chose a 3DS for the Nintendo exclusives and great games. The graphics/hardware may not be good as the Vita, but it still functions perfectly fine.

I borrowed a Vita from my friend and, my goodness, the graphics are soo nice! Multiplat game, Conception II was used to compare the differences... Faster loading times, much better resolution, and the frames! The frame rate was so pretty when compared to the 3DS version. The Vita has a decent library and basically fills the holes that the 3DS didn't..

Btw, if your getting a 3DS I'd highly recommend you to not get the 2DS... it's a cheap console for a reason...
