Zelda U is going to be open-world. Nintendo doesn't has any experience with games like that.

Also, I want to know the proper title of the game. They can't seriously call it The Legend of Zelda U.

6) Xenoblade X turned out to be so good that nintendo expects everyone to play it for months and overshadow zelda's release.

Seriously though, the lack of information is worrysome for wiiu owners.

This is exactly what I (multiple times) pointed out I DID NOT want to have people say on this thread. Nintendo doesn't just lie about including new features. They are the KINGS of new features (some so innovative that they have failed miserably; power glove, virtual boy). If they say they are delaying it due to exciting new possibilities, I believe them and so should you. I don't see any evidence, based on their past, that could make me want to assume this is a "PR speak."

There is eveidence based on their past. When TP was announced, the game wasn't even being made yet. The 2004 trailer was just made for the presentation, and Aonuma literally said in an interview years later that he had no idea what the game would be until literally two years after that. And then it was delayed again purely for it to be a launch title for the Wii.

It's PR speak, because it sounds better than "this thing was never realistically coming out this year, and we announced it way earlier than we should have."

Yes but did Aonuma actually say something along the lines of "We are delaying this after discovering new and exciting possibilities" or did he just beat around the bush and delay it because he wanted it on Wii? The difference is, THIS TIME, they are SAYING it is BECAUSE of the possibilities. They aren't just saying "We're delaying this... were not going to tell you why." I challange you to find an instance where they specifically announced a delay, associated it with new features, and didn't deliver new features.

There is a small chance they might be changing the art style. It kind of got a lot of flack from fans because they wanted another Twilight Princess art style. Most likely option listed above is probably #3, though.

They said the delay for Twilight Princess was to polish it. In the end, they recognized it was because the Wii versión and the game was ready before.

Edit: There's something major behind curtains if they decided to not show it.

hopefully they decided that the only way to know where to go next is to actually talk to npc's and have to use your brain to figure it out. That'd be sweet, and for the people who don't like it there is always a strat guide or webz.

Polish is not the same as "new and exciting features." One means debugging and making things shinier and the other means, potentially, altering the game completely or significantly.
