Forums - Gaming - PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne Sold Out In Many Stores in Tokyo

Nice to see it sell well in other places. In Australia though shelves were still full with the game last I checked on Friday. Bit disappointed in my fellow Aussies.

I really hope Bloodborne starts a new trend this gen.

I wish they would make a console Phantasy Star in the same vein. More emphasis on loot though

Target was completely sold out of them. They have it for$69AUS whilst JB and EB have it for $99. I got EB to price match Target's price :P

I had never played a Souls game, and playing BB has been a bucket of cold water. I had forgotten how amazing it felt to have to work and practice at a game. Each boss I fight feels like a triumph.

I love he fact that the "reward" for beating the require bosses is pretty much "ok good, now you can do this harder area" while the optional bosses tend to unlock something that leads to new gear (BSB and CB both optional one unlocks Kirkhammer, the other Ludwigs holy blade)

Bloondborne IS great but come on. It's not Contra Hard Corps. Even the hardest games these days can't compare to 1 hit kills, 3 lives and 5 continues.

Hopefully PS4 can match Vita sales this week! (in Japan)

That just feels weird to say.

which is good.  Games were only that hard because of limited cartridges and the need to make them feel longer than they actually were.  A game like Rayman Origins is a great way to handle difficulty.  1 hit kills so it's as challenging as can be but checkpoints so when you beat a challenge you don't have to again and again and again (which makes no sense since 1 hit would've killed you anyway so you already did as perfectly as you could).

GREAT!, now we just need to wait for 2 month until we get the numbers for that week...

Eh, Bloodborne is selling very well to the point that we won't have to wait long for Sony's numbers.

Sony should also release some number about digital sales. So far only digital this generation for me, and so many like me. There's no sold out on the digital world, so no head lines like this, so a number announcement would be nice.
