lol, no its terrible news for Wii U. It means the Wii U will probably never have a stand out holiday,whats really going to sell it in 2015? Splatoon, animal crossing? It also means Zelda may arrive on a dead system. The fact that its missing e3 means a summer 2016 isn't even likely. they're not just polishing the game, they're creating entirely new gameplay experiences.

Skyward Sword arriving in fall 2011 didn't the wii from dying before its arrival.

Bad for Wii U, good of Zelda.

I will hold my applause until AFTER I know their Holiday strategy for this year (in other words, after E3). If they have a sound strategy and hopefully a new game for the Holidays, I can get behind a delay to first half 2016. If not...well then I hope that Xenoblade and Star Fox somehow catch fire because neither of those have the muscles to carry a holiday at the level of Zelda; Xenoblade is too young and Star Fox is...well it's Star Fox; it's a middle weight.

Why not show anything at E3? Makes no sense at all. Delay makes sense, I didn't think it would come out till 2016 anyways but still very disappointed. They better make it up with Limited, Collectors sets and Collectors Console.
