I'm on the fence about getting this because I'm not sure if I'll get a N3DS, but I don't trust Nintendo to keep the game in stock so I might just have to buy it...

I thought it was available for download as well.

"Nintendo has announced the downloadable version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will not fit on the 4GB microSD card included with New 3DS and New 3DS XL. Oh – and there’s a new trailer for the game out as well."

I like to have physical versions of my games.

If you haven't played this, you really should! Though, if you can, get it for the Wii ^^

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Pretty awesome

Yeah, but since there is a digital version, even in the unlikely scenario that they halt production and the physical supply dwindles the new prices likely won't increase significantly like they had with Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) because there is a digital version to compete with, price-wise. For example, Ocarina of Time 3D is about $50, new, despite supply being halted. Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii was >$100 new at its peak. Considering how it is probably going to be at least a year before Xenoblade halts production (if at all - it is not exclusive to one retailer - it is the only New 3DS game) I think you have a reasonable amount of time to decide. The question you should ask is how valuable is the $40 now vs. $10-15 future (year or more) cost in the case that they do halt production before you decide to purchase a new 3DS.

This or Fire Emblem or Bravely Default...

Maybe I should actually buy a game to take advantage of my new 3DS

They're all good choices...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Ya that's true, I remember Tales of Vesperia's price skyrocketed then they released the game digitally and it plummeted.

Is it out already? In the us I mean.
