Nah, it's pretty apt, you just don't like it.  You didn't even try to rationalize why it doesn't work so I'll chalk that up as a win.  After all, it simply comes down to media being re-released so that more people can enjoy it.  Period.  my god.

Honestly, I think your complaints about more games being made avaliable to more people are silly and meaningless.  On the list of things to complain about, this one is just mind-boggling. 

again, just remaster the entire ps3 library. im sure that would go over real well. lol. 

im not going to describe the differences between the two. you should be able to determine that for yourself. in fact, if you just asked anybody on here what the differences are, leaving out the context of the situation, they will tell you plenty of differences. if you want to chalk that up as a win, be my guest. i couldnt care less.

Its almost 1.5y since the new consoles launched and we have not even half the amount of good games on both consoles combined we had on the Dreamcast within its first year. (the console that arguably was such a failure that Sega died)

One would think that after the industry had 15+years to mature even more (after the DC) with 2 juggernaught consoles which had predecessors that sold roughly 90m consoles each. That at least one of the new consoles would have a great library by now let alone both but thats not the case at all.

Today not games sell systems its marketing and lies, fanboys (and their word of mouth) and even more nonsense.

Do you really compare OOT3D/LylatWars 3D  WindWakerHD and Halo Master Chief collection (products that had effort put into them)
To Stuff like TheLastOfUs (framerate does not suck this time edition) and the upcoming GOW3? (both being upress ports)
Its two different types of products.

Did you not come here to debate, if so then you should explain not just say someone else will do it. You either don't have much faith in your points or you have no wish to argue them, in which case you shouldn't have made the thread to begin with.

His analogy is fine, it doesn't fit 100% but it's close enough. Different people handle reprinting, you don't need the writers present. Different people handle remasters, you don't need designers, writers, voice actors, concept artists and the vast vast majority of code is already written.

They just need to maybe update the blerb, add some copyright and maybe write a little note in the back.
