Favourites: Wind Waker HD (was already my favourite game ever) followed by Smash Wii U and Mario 3D World

Anticipated: Currently just Zelda U

What I like about the console: Off-TV play. Love being able to just sit on the couch/bed and play it like a handheld.

Favorite games:
Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Hyrule Warriors, Resident Evil Revelations

What I like about the WiiU:
multiplayer games (perfect for gaming parties!), retro-compatibility, free online, many controller options.

I'm going to have to go with Super Mario 3d world. Mario kart 8 is a strong second. But really this gem has been about the WiiU eshop for me. Guacamelee, knytt's underground, shovel knight, the release of the metroid prime trilogy for $9.99! So while I know there have been droughts in the system, I haven't really noticed. Actually, most popular games don't interest me, be they shooter, sport game, survival horror, etc...so even if there weren't real droughts I'd probably still feel the same about the output on the console.
