I'm going to have to go with Super Mario 3d world. Mario kart 8 is a strong second. But really this gem has been about the WiiU eshop for me. Guacamelee, knytt's underground, shovel knight, the release of the metroid prime trilogy for $9.99! So while I know there have been droughts in the system, I haven't really noticed. Actually, most popular games don't interest me, be they shooter, sport game, survival horror, etc...so even if there weren't real droughts I'd probably still feel the same about the output on the console.
