Probably yes.

Capcom have no effect on the fact I'll get a Nintendo console with free online on day one. HOWEVER if Nintendo could get Capcom to tidy their act, and get Resident Evil to soak in some influences from Fatal Frame and Metroid Prime while bringing Megaman into the modern gaming scene... who could say no?

I'd maybe buy some of the games they may revitalize like Megaman, but it wouldn't be the thing that would make me buy a particular console for me, it would just be a bonus, or maybe a small reason why one should buy a console.

A Monster Hunter on Wii U would be another good reason to buy a Wii U so yes.

exclusive Capcom games - MH5? and add SF and other IPs like? but for me, won't matter if Nintendo has bought Capcom or not. if Nintendo bought SE for Final Fantasy that is a different. :)
people have preference though. some would want Capcom to be part of Nintendo for certain IPs. some would prefer the studios too.

My answer is yes with or without the capcom purchase.

I am buying the next Nintendo-console regardless
