Kojima is an arrogant goof that has hardly done anything other than MGS. I don't see why it's a big deal. He will just make s MGS rip off at another studio.

Arrogant goof?  Based on what?  He is one of the most humble game developers I have seen.  Also he has made a few other games besides MGS which are very highly regarded.

He put himself in his own game... Nothing more needs to be said.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

Hopefully he can do other games now. But I also have the same perception that he is very arrogant.

BTW this reminds me of Sakurai, maybe he don't want to develop anymore Smash games and try new things.

Possible. Although since he is working on PT/Silent Hill, doesn't that mean he is? It's possible that they might have wanted him to do more MG, but that's entirely conjecture.

Na, I actually prefer the game be exclusive because a game on 1 platform vs 5 platforms, it's going to be way better. So it's actually better for gamers because they're getting a better game and if Sony does fund Kojimas game it would have no trouble with money.

Do you have proof of that?

Are you serious? You think developing on 5 platforms for 3 years and developing the same game on 1 platform for 3 years is going to be better?

It's called common sense and having looked at the game's credits.

The concept of SSB was made by Sakurai WHILE he was working for Nintendo. All the characters and stages are from games made BY Nintendo.

No. What are you talking about? Nintendo didn't touch the game. They aren't credited for developing the game one bit. Sora and Namco Bandai are only credited for developing the game. All characters and stages are made by Nintendo? No they're only using Nintendo characters and stages.

Oh and the majority of the stages in SSB4 are retro stages (that were made by Nintendo).

The last few pages of this thread have been incredibly on topic.

So this probably the right place to talk about what I'll make for breakfast tomorrow. I'm really torn cus I haven't had French toast in forever and I'm dying for some tbh, but I didn't have much for dinner today so maybe it's better if I make some steak and eggs tomorrow and really start the day off with a big meal. Thoughts?

Wow.....you really don't understand do you? It's like talking to a brick wall. They didn't make the game, Sora and Namco also made the character models and stage designs for the game. They are just using the Nintendo characters.

Tell me, is Mario Golf World Tour made by Nintendo? Kirby Triple Deluxe made by Nintendo? Yoshi's New Island? I really hope you don't say yes.

Oh wait I've something better. Tell me is Hyrule Warriors made by Nintendo? It uses Link and tons of other characters and "stages" from Zelda. It's the same thing with Super Smash Brawl.

Dude. You totally should. If you are craving it, do it :D

Right, but even if I hope for something, like for Suikoden 6 to be announced, the likelyhood of it happening determines if I'll even mention it as a possibility at all. Because it might seem like I have unrealistic expectations if I do. So it sounded like you considered Nintendo a more likely destination for Kojima than Sony.
Yes, I did notice Bayonetta 2 (still not sure what Devil's Third will be like though). Kojima could join Platinum Games. They've even made a MGS game, so it wouldn't seem like a strange fit. But I see Nintendo as a very unlikely place he'd chose to go to right now, given all the circumstances. Although I understand the "that's why I want him there." sentiment.

He would certainly add more diversity to Nintendo than to Sony, but given the situation Nintendo are in today with WiiU, that has made it a low priority of developers from all across the world today. (The lack of third party support for the WiiU attests to that.)
It's a shame, but Nintendo simply have to make better decisions with their next console.

I just think he would make better games while at Nintendo EAD than at SCEJ.

I don't think it's likely to happen at all. It's just what I want to see.

@the other guy that thinks Nintendo didn't touch a game that is all about Nintendo: LOL! I guess they didn't make the music as well.

Not sure if serious. Nintendo, Intelligent Systems, Hal Labs, Monolith soft, Creatures Inc and Pokemon Company have been credited with the games development. Developing two massive games simultaneously requires shitloads of resources, it's common sense that Nntendo lent a hand.

*facepalm*, you guys really don't understand the difference between developing and "crediting". Of course Monolith Soft had something to do with SSB, they had to tell the developers what move sets to make. That doesn't mean they developed the game. How hard is that to understand?
