Are you serious? You think developing on 5 platforms for 3 years and developing the same game on 1 platform for 3 years is going to be better? |
Are you going to answer my question or not?

I actually gave it some more thought, and now I'm thinking I wanna make one of those Royal Red Robin burgers with the sunnyside egg in the middle. That seems like a winner to me
Developing on multiple platforms seems to work and show the strengths of each one, especially with what each one can actually handle.

Seeing nice talent like Kojima going exclusive to a console will just be a waste of talent and deny PC and other platforms any of his future games which imo is a bad thing, I prefer talent being used as much as it can and delivered to as many as possible rather than just a select group or base.
I also prefer being able to play on my platform of choice rather than having myself denied games coming to my platform of choice by restrictively working with another platform, I;d rather not have to dish out £4-500 for a box to play one or two titles that were denied for little to no reason.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I don't need too, all you have to do is think. There is a limit to how many people can work on a game, time and resources. I'm not sure how you can even argue this.

"They aren't credited for developing the game one bit."
But you said they weren't credited for the game one bit. Doing character designs, stage designs, providing assets and discussing movesets are all part of the development process. Don't you think these are necessary. Coding it's just one part of the puzzle. It's common sense.

It seems to me you have no proof. If you're not going to show proof, don't bother replying back.

Haha don't worry, you obviously have no idea what you're talking about so I won't anymore.

This thread has gone completely off the rails. Let's get back on topic, this isn't the thread to start talking about who developed Smash Bros or what Sakurai is doing or who developed which Nintendo games. There's also been a number of digs being thrown around and enough of that too, any more beyond this post and moderations will start flying around.

He might be tired of the franchise. His good friend Sakurai was tired of Kirby and is becoming tired of SSB. |
But it's still his creation, his vision. He may not want to work in the MGS world any more, but would he want someone else to get their hands on it and potentialy ruin it? I imagine Sakurai might feel the same about Kirby. Probably not so much with SSB since most of the content of SSB is Nintendo's own IP.
If Kojima thinks that the MGS games have already told a complete story and there's nothing more that's worthwhile to say or do in that world, then as the creator of MGS it is as important to be able to let the franchise end in the manner he wants it to end. Just as it is important to be able to continue with the franchise if he feels there still some unfinished business with metal gear.
