I don't think he understands that the PS4 is on route to becoming one of the fastest selling consoles in the history of gaming and they are tracking it right now with the PS2 and its not doing badly at all. Thats just scary.

It's already fallen behind the Wii, and even that dominated and only got to 100 million.

Sony sold beyond that in their first generation and how many generations has Nintendo had to figure out how to dominate? Please...the Wii blew its load in the first four years and slumped in sales and Nintendo cut the chord (You know this). Nintendo realized that the more stable gaming market that stands behind the 360 and PS3 was more of a sustainable market and outside of that tablets were cutting into the sales of handhelds (which is why Nintendo more than likely will put their hand into the tablet market). The Wii U was a venture to try and grab that market, but it failed and only hooked the hardcore Nintendo fanatics. Nintendo tried to make peace with third party but they were missing the hardware to do accomplish this. The Wii U is on route to selling worse than their worst selling console and its been around since 2012.
The people who supported the Wii are not typical gamers. They don't stick around which is why the Wii U was not supported even though they tried to hold onto the confusing name.
The Playstation is the most dominant brand in the world. If you averaged out Sony's sales it would still average out to over 100 million in sales overall out of all of their gens. No brand can say this. Microsofts best generation was Sony's worst and Nintendos best gen was Sony's second best (Soon to be third best the way the PS4 is selling).
