In both cases it's the design and productions of the hardware that alows for the problems so In my eyes RROD = Dust Problem as the end result is similar , No Gaming.

Apart from one means no gaming from one game yet all other functions active and all other games. As opposed to complete console shutdown Million, this point has been put forward before a few times in the thread. The end result is most certainly not the same.

No, not really nothing like the xbox RROD. Why? Because it only affected a small number of people and the problem can be fixed easily. Do people have a double standard on Sony?

Though there are other reasons to be pissed off at people. A big reason... stupidity.

For example, once after my girlfriend corrected someone in that Barak Obama wasn't a muslim and actually gave the church he belonged to... said person said "That's just what the media wants you to think."

This pissed her off because it was incredibly stupid.  Not because she had an emotional investment in Obama.

Every console has stupid shit like this that happens with launch systems. The only difference is Nintendo actually told people, rather then just stealth fixing the problem when people called Nintendo.
