It's not even the games that suck, it's the console! Glad Iwata tells us that he knows that, even though it is kind hard. Welp, there's one thing for sure, Nintendo is angry and they're about to do something about it.

He didn't say anything about NX or how NX relates to Wii U, that is speculation on the Time writer's part.

The only thing he said about NX is that

1.) It's a dedicated game platform.

2.) It's a "brand new concept"

3.) He can't say anything else about it until next year.

4.) The new rewards program will be a core part of the console.

I don't recognise it as second choice either. In fact I'd rather have no console than a Nintendo home console because it doesn't appeal to me at being a person over the age of 12.

It is mine.

I play on PC and the great console games on WiiU.

I have the other 2 software lacking consoles (mediocre third party multiplatfrom crap is nothing I care about when I can get it for 90% cheaper on PC 1 year after release) as additional systems for future exclusives like Halo BloodBorne etc.

If you have a 4 year old PC there is not much point in owning a PS4 and XB1 tbh. (especially when you like japanese games and more and more come to PC)

But I bought the systems anyway because I got a white XB1 incl. Sunset Overdrive and a PS4 including Knack/Killzone/Infamous SS/Infamous FL for a total of 627€

All the people that buy those systems for 400€ individually make me sad lol.
