Street Fighter V has been funded mostly by Sony, so it's impossible to be released in other consoles. The inclussion of Ryu probably has other reasons behind it.

But if Sony doesn't make a new handheld and the game is only playable on the NX handheld, Sony wouldn't have any reason to forbid that port...

If the NX is that hybrid project, it really doesn't matter. Also, Sony wouldn't be able to sell it as an exclusive anymore.

We'll have to wait and see.

Those exclusivity deals can be complex and the SF V one could prevent the game to launch on MSoft, but maybe not on Nintendo. After all, the deal was done almost two years ago when no one was talking aboyt NX and neither Wii U or 3DS could run the game.

I mean, the game will also launch on PC, so it's not a 100% exclusive game.

I was under the impression it was just a timed exclusive, but wasn't the first Mass Effect funded by Microsoft and everybody was convinced it would never go to PS3 but did anyway?

Im not sure if SF5 will be on xbox one, but Sony doesn't own the ip and if Microsoft is willing to fund their own version Im sure capcom is all for it. I think Microsoft wants to invest more into killer instinct.
