I think it was more question when as opposed to if, still nice to see it being spelled out so clearly.
What if it was ready for a September release? I think MS really want to go in for the kill this fall.
If Gears releases this summer I would be so freaking happy. My favorite gaming franchise period, the best balance of multiplayer and campaign only matched by Halo imo.

Gears > Halo in my opinion. 
Would be awesome if we could have both a GOW and Uncharted collection this year. That would make for a fun sales battle.
I'd definitely recommend anyone who hasn't tried Gears to do so though. I didn't care much for the 1st (I didn't play the series until 2010, at which point much of what had made Gears 1 ambitious had become standard), but the 2nd and 3rd are incredibly good games.

They need to make this happen! But they can leave out Judgement. Just put in gears 1 - 3 and the dlc.
