Knight with Two Swords support skill.

Hmm, so a Knight that can dual wield? Is that from Bravely Default, or from another game?

FF tactics. I really should play the other tactic games, though.

That`s awesome! It`s cool that there`s another game where you can mix dual wield with other classes. Likewise, I need to play FF Tactics...

You could mix and match any of the skills you learned from another class to any of them but it takes a considerable amount of creative grinding to learn or max out the job classes. One of my favorite games.

Hell yeah I know Dokapon! That game deserved to be bigger than Mario Party. Yeah, Spellsword, that's what it was. I've really been meaning to get Bravely Default! I didn't have the money when it came out and then it just sort of got buried under other games I also need to get. This news brings it to the top of the pile though. I've yet to have as much fun in a video game with a swordmage type character as I did with DnD though. Which makes me sad, not that there's anything wrong with DnD, as it's awesome, just that no one has tried to really go all out with the idea in a video game. This spell fencer sounds promising though.

Hmmmm,  you talking about the swrodmage in D&D has got me really curious now... Now I really need to hear more about it. I`m playing some D&D myself, so I`m hoping my DM can tell me more about it. : ) I hope the Spellsword from BD fits well with the class you`re describing.

And I think Dokapon is awesome too. Though I feel like the battle system is a little on the simple side, and the lack of mini games is a bit lacking, but the idea is really good and I still enjoy it. I`m glad I got a copy before it went rare expensive..

Like many classes in D&D, it takes a while to get good. Right from the beginning though, you can teleport to a target and attack them if they attack your ally, which feels awesome. By the end you'll do all sorts of epic things. I found the class to be perfect to play as the genasi race. Genasi are elementals that can change their elemental form, and their personality along with it. You can imagine how that might play into the swordmage class well. It's also insane fun to roleplay if you like the roleplayng side of D&D. All this said, if your DM still plays 3.5, he might not know anything about swordmages, as mine didn't at first. Good luck!

You can do that in FFV and FFT. Even more overpowered if you add in a dual strike ability.

Devil Summoner of course duh.

Knight

Whenever there's a choice or equivalent to it, I go for the guy that uses long range offensive magic. Shooting magic elements out of my hands is pretty sweet. I also just like the robes better than armor. Mage!
Or, Jew, in The Stick of Truth...
