The question is if they can sustain that level for a longer period of time? So far it seems mobile games gets huge for a year or two and then simply disappears. Is that the fate of Nintendo games now? Nintendo games have long and sexy legs on consoles, but how will they fare on smart devices?
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
So since Nintendo is the second-largest shareholder in DeNA, they "own" a big figurative chunk of their platform, Mobage. Since Nintendo owns the platform, at least in part... that makes anything they release for it first-party, yeah? Especially since they're working directly with DeNA. It's like Nintendo publishing another company's game, only in this case Nintendo is the "other company," and they actually partially own the "first-party."

It is possible. Nintendo's most popular franchises usually print money, even on poorly selling consoles.
