I'm happy with the news, the longer my favorite gaming company survives doing what it does best, the happier I am. The only concern I have is hopefully they don't make a game like All the Bravest.

I don't have any stock on Nintendo, why would this news make me happy?
If I had to express my feelings for this news it would be something like: "Ok, cool"
"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"
Well, some people somewhere out there are rejoicing. As much of a fan I am NOT of mobile games and Ninten jumping in it, I release that this is a good idea for them to do, and it's not for me, a person who likes console games. So as long as their console front remains the same, I won't be so upset about it.
Dance my pretties!

Well if you care about the companies health, you would see that this would keep the company alive, which is really needed. I am enjoying the Wii U and 3DS, but really the companies survival will always be on the back of my mind. This move allows them more wiggle room.
I don't know why fans are mad... I'm a hardcore Nintendo fan and I'm happy because this mean $$$ for Nintendo. Oh well, the internet is so intolerant.
Good for Nintendo I guess.
I am concerned about a possible hit in quality, but it is too early to tell.

II think if they really do join both handheld and console into one hardware like the "idea" that is being passed around. It will be properly supported. Honestly the only thing that would change is Nintendo has more revenue sources. The great thing about this partnership is that Nintendo would be working together with an experienced firm, and this allows them to still have resources available.
I'm not angry. I'm just upset.
Nintendo consoles bread and butter is the fact that they are the only ones that have Nintendo games. Take away their biggest strength when they lack in many other area (hardware and third party support) and you can see why fans are worried about Nintendo's future in the dedicated gaming business.
Finally, people that think this is bad are usually forum fear mongers who don't understand business. They're really concerned! This can mean so many things. Like making their decade old back catalogue available. Honestly why is it still not available? Bringing old games to mobiles is not cannibalizing 3DS, the demand is there as people are paying money to download emulators. They could also make new dev teams that create games from their IPs for mobiles only. Why do these concerned internet folk always assume the worst?
