Nope reveal at e3 2016, release fall 2016. 4 years, as expected. And as feared Zelda is probably going to be the last major game for the system.

For all wondering, this NX can't be the QoL thing, because it says "dedicated gaming machine NX" (ゲーム専用機NX). Maybe a Smartphone or Tablet (third pillar)? Or the 3DS successor?

Good, the sooner they move from their current state the better. No more DS, no more Wii. NX is completely new for them, very fresh.

Even if the Fusion console was true, I  hope they don't make it at those specs. Even if its DDR4, its still only 4GB.

Those are not pillars...

Also I think it should be noted that although we Westerners are looking at this like N "Ecks", in Japan they are likely calling it N "Cross." As in Nintendo Cross.

Lol what IS that?! But I wouldnt mind at all to keep playing when I leave home; theres been many times when I wanted to keep playing a certain game when I had to go somewhere

I've just lost all my trust in Nintendo. This concept will either be at best mediocre or completly terrible. I'm sure it'll be option 2.
