I don't get why you asked me though if you knew about them, I find them opinionated slogans tbh, at times being arrogant.

Because I couldn't recall from the trailer which ones they used. Wasn't bothered looking either so asked you. Most people look at them as cool advertising statements and others it seems get offended by them. Can't please them all but sony is only trying to impress potential buyers and they are doing a good job of that so far.  

I'm not really offended by them, I just find slogans like that non factual and opinionated with a hint of arrogance, just like Nvidia's "the way it;s meant to be played" slogan, the way it tells you "this is factually how it;s meant to be played" because of course a company is never ever going to slap "imo" on the end of their slogan.

For those Sony can't please the other platforms will pick them up which is a good thing since it means there's more variety to be had out there.

Why,  because the other platforms are angels and don't do the most common form of advertising?  Just because sony does it best don't mean they are bad. Ps4 is dominating so I'm sure they won't fret over the one or two that use this silly excuse to buy a different console. 

Did I say the other platforms are angels though?, Nintendo in the past was once like that but hardly does that as much now, Xbox either has Jump in or nothing at all and I don't know PC since PC isn't owned by a company, only two I could see close enough are AMD 9Future is fusion) and Nvidia.

SOny does it best is once again an opinion, not a fact, I could say "just because Ninty/MS does it best doesn't mean they are bad" and you'd argue to that because it's an opinionated statement and not a fact, arrogance is hardly a good thing, it doesn't always get you far ahead and you know and say that Sony needs the money more than anything.

I think they will eventually start fretting, you seem to see it as a minor thing that PC, Nintendo and MS still have their share of players and still get their own as time goes by, it;s not just one or two, that's woefully ignorant to say such, PC has more players than PS4 and PS3, Xbox 360 and XB1 while combining past gen XB3 360,XB1 and Wii/Wii U together would have more users than the PS3/4 so really they still have a thing to fret over like any other company because the matter of the fact is that they don't have everyone under their belt, both the other conbsoles are still in existance and their companies as well, they still have their fanbases and numbers, regardless of one gen domination the other two are still doing fine and PC is thriving, I don't see how PS4 doing slightly higher numbers somehow equates to all other platforms being shite and worthless (hence your "won't fret over the one or two").

You call it a silly excuse though but that's you, to me it;s not silly at all since the point of the slogan is to sell you the idea of the product as well as being a memorableadvertisement, I'm not going to really be sold on the promise slogan of "greatness awaits" because greatness is measured in value, it is never a factual universally shared aspect, "best place to game" is the same thing, I find PC and other platforms the ebst place to game and you can't call me wrong because gaming across more gives you more variety, more to game on, more people to meet and learn from like venturing across new horizons instead of a single one.

Also just an fyi, you know where this is headed right?, kinda why I asked originally "why you asked me?", it was a subtle hint not for the slogan but for the why debate something I made clear I was not going to ever agree on, if you want to keep going then by all means but it won't be long until the first "knock it off" comes into play.

You've no issue with buying an xbox despite similar slogans in the past. It's called advertising.  Very silly tbh. Why are you making an exception to sony and their top class PR?

That's because "jump in" isn't being arrogant or opinionated, I'm well aware it being called advertising, I wasn't sold on 360 adverts at the time, I was sold on the games they had back then and the fact the conse was  cheaper than the PS3 since last gen no one had issues with Sony telling us to get a second job to afford that PS3, to which mine broke down a year and a half afterwards and it being the same price after that year and I half I wasn't going to throw down the same amount of money again which was why I went with the 360 since it was cheaper and my friends also bought into it, advertisements alone don't sell me products, I actually dislike most forms of advertisement since I already know what I want a good chunk of the time.

I didn't make an Exception to Sony, I said before that other corps including the likes of Nintendo and Nvidia, Sega have done the same in the past, only difference is Sega has no console and hardly any pull or sway, nintendo isn't the same nintendo from the past, Nvidia still goes with their slogan which hasn't changed in a long time.

Honestly call it silly all you want, it's never going to change how I see it or make me denounce my previous opinions, it won't make them go away either, so if you want to continue the nice little circle you're keeping up with by all means do, I'll be that "I told you so" guy when the knock it off comes into play since you should know by now what happens when you decide to quote me and drag this on, I'm not changing my stance and neither do you which is why I find it pointless.
