And the lamps! MY GOD HAVE YOU SEEN THE LAMPS

Yes, hahaha. The lighting system ( any source of light ) in The Order looks impressive indeed. But falls short to DriveClub dynamic / ever changing lighting system, where you can see the sun setting in real-time.

Edit: Unless you meant the lamp physical models not the light... In that case you are right

I concur those lamps are god-tier

The picture of the Order in the OP doesn't do it justice. Actually, no pictures ever will. There are filters used in The Order to enhance the visuals. In motion they make the game look like a movie. But when looking at still pictures, the filters appear to be nothing more than a blur.

Still, there are better pictures to show the quality of the graphics.

I think you have to consider the compromises each game had to make to get that level of detail.

The Order: no reflections in glass or mirrors, even of by-standers. No water splash when walking through ground water. Black bars.

Driveclub:? I don't know 'cause I've never played it.

From Digital Foundry: "The disappointing factors here come in the form of a low level of anisotropic filtering, which results in ground textures appearing blurry from a few metres away, and a massive reduction in environment detail visible in the rear view mirror when driving via the cockpit view - spectators, trees and geometry details are all ruthlessly culled"

Still, all things considered, I'd say the tradeoffs are worth it, at least with Driveclub. Not a fan of the black bars in The Order though.

It should therefore come as no surprise that I gave my vote to Driveclub. Those weather effects = orgasmic.

Driveclub is more visually appealing. Don't know which one is more impressive though.

For me its the Order. Driveclub for me wren't impressive in motion. the only impressive thing was the heavy rainfall. The rest look good but nothing special

DriveClub by far. I think it looks better than the PC version of Project CARS, like seriously.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

you are comparing a finished product with a product that it not close to being finished. The final game for project cars will have cars with 250k polygons and other weather effects and what not. Why not compare both when project cars is actually release to games. A bit of unfair comparison

you really should show a pic from Driveclub on one of the tracks in Japan.... at sundown, with rose petals blowing across the track, and a traditional Japanese house in the middle of a lake with the sun reflecting of it.... Just played that and it blew my mind.

psn- tokila

Well, seeing as how I don't own the game, or indeed a PS4, that's a little easier said than done. ;)

I was sure to select one that showed the weather effects though!
