Thanks for the four answers, guys! Now I pretty much know what I'm getting myself into. When it comes to my playstyle, I'm usually rather conservative, I love collecting everything and getting all sidequests and I'll most probably try to go for the Platinum. This tells me that I should probably wait till summer holidays with it, since I'll have more time to play it. I guess it's pointless to start it now, if I can only play my PS3 3-4 hours every two weeks (thank God for Vita!!).

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I thought Demon Souls and Dark Souls were great, but felt Dark Souls 2 as a downgrade both in quality and difficulty, didnt like it

Bloodborne to me seems closer to Demon Souls, which has me excited for it

I love all three!

DS1 for best world structure, lore, music and side quests/events.
DS2 for best PvP, boss fights and mechanics (like real dual wielding).
Demon's Souls for best atmosphere and best waifu.

I didn't like them.
Too harsh, too monotonous.
For me, frustration is the polar opposite of fun.

It's a lot of fun as well.

It's not unfair frustation, it's about learning and it s a great experience with a ton of rewarding feeling when steps are completed.

Tastes are tastes, but it's not based on frustation, it's based on being able to get better.

My experience was based on frustration. I don't find stress and repetition rewarding.

How wouldn't you feel nice after realising how much you was able to get better on it (considering you beated it) it's over me, but well, of course it won't attract everyone.

Well, in my personal experience, the payoff is only worth it if the reward outweighs the punishment required to achieve it. For me, it didn't.

I can't stand Souls game's ...

I hate 'em all with passion ...

Such incredible games.

I remember browsing the internet for recommended PS3 games and saw this allegedly incredibly difficult game called Demon's Souls. I said, HA, bring it on losers, and 20,000 deaths later became legend. Do you believe that I played the entire game alone, completely oblivious to a multiplayer aspect?

After that, Dark Souls was a breeze. Not really, but after honing my skills it was a much smoother ride to completion. The PVP here still reigns supreme.

Dark Souls 2 actually seemed the most well-rounded of the series. You actually had viable magic builds for PVE and PVP. But, it fell pray to jack-of-all-trades, master of none syndrome.

I'm ready for round 4.
