for me, someone who mainly console games, the c stick does feel a bit 'off' but to be fair I think that's just because I've been soley console gaming for a while and don't understand or appreciate the c stick expansion on the 3DS. if someone who isn't a handheld gamer jumps on a new 3DS naturally the c stick is going to feel subpar to console controller versions BUT it obviously is a massive improvement for certain games on handheld
my brother in law just picked up a new 3DS and loves the c-stick so it does seem that a regular handheld gamer in general likes it
