I don't think they should do that tbh. They would eat each others sales. Spreading them apart is vital, especially considering we've already gotten MM3D this year.

3DS holiday title could be anything though. I'd love it if it was Metroid.

Im talking about Nov Duo. Nintendo seems to be making this an annual thing now, that they release a big HH+HC game in Nov (week before BF) with 1 side game for holiday boost.

I was also counting XY as a big holiday game but it was Early-Mid October I guess.

Seiously though we are getting Pokemon this year, 7 years straight here we come =D

Depends on wat you mean by this^ I dont think we'll get pokemon this year, i think we'll get it spring summer next year and then gen 7 in holiday 2017.

Also Pokemon is kinda weird, it hasnt technically been a new pokemon every year. Western Market just caught up to japan.

Japan missed a game in 2011 and had BW2 in Summer 2012

A 3rd Hero of Time game set in an entirely new world with entirely new races but still utilizing the mask transformation system from MM would be amazing. I actually could see it coming to 3ds, but being New 3ds exclusive. With the success of N3DS so far and all the 3ds games on the slate this year, I don't see support ending for it anytime soon. Maybe for the 3DS, but I definitely think the N3DS will continue getting big games for another 2+ years.

Here's a wild idea: what if Nintendo knew all along they wanted to make a third Hero of Time game for 3ds, but felt the need to re-release OoT and MM on the system first since they're older and several modern gamers may not have played them. Hell, maybe this 3rd HoT game has been in development nearly as long as MM3D, and that's why it took them so long on that one. They were kind of splitting dev time between the two. Of course I'm sure I'm just dreaming, but interesting to chew on.

I'm the biggest believer that Link should always be a child, but this has always been the acceptation for me. In OoT, Link was both a child and a child stuck in a young adult's body. In MM, Link got to truly live as a child. If they ever decide to end the trilogy, I'd hope that they'd allow Link to grow up and experience true young adulthood for the first time.

I'd also seriously hope that Link not return to Hyrule. It should take place in yet another different land. That being said, it also shouldn't just be Majora's Mask 2. It should carve out it's own identity separate from MM, just like MM did with OoT.

It's not impossible for a N3DS Zelda to happen if they've already started working on it, but I wouldn't want it to be the third Hero of Time game. That game deserves the spotlight of the generation, not the twilight year of one system while the next system is just around the corner. Perhaps if they pulled a Twilight Princess and made it cross generation as a launch title for next gen. From that thread, you and I already agree on like 75%+ of the details of the content.
