Forums - Nintendo - I've finally bought my Wii U.

Welcome to the family! You also got the essential essentials. All you're missing is MK8 and you'll be set for a while.

I was going to make a joke, but no. That's just too easy.

No, I'm not buying Smash, because I already have it for my 3DS. Which is a shame because I have many friends who have it but I've never played with them because they suck balls, and nobody has a Wii U here in Brazil, so I'll have to pass on it, lmao.

There's plenty of content in Smash Wii U not in the 3DS version, and if you need people to play with you can always play online. Also you can get Mewtwo for free when he comes out if you have both versions. And for local multiplayer the advantage is you only need one Wii U, so it doesn't matter that your friends don't have a Wii U. They can even use their 3DS systems as controllers for the Wii U version, so you don't need extra controllers!

I had similar problems in college, though I forced myself to make time and didn't regret it. I did end up playing a lot more portable games just because it was easier to find time for them. Holidays though, you should dedicate some gaming time for your home consoles.
