Warner Bros. has confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Mortal Kombat X have been delayed until summer. The Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions are still on track to release on April 14.

"Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer," Warner Bros said in a statement provided to VideoGamer.com. "The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions will be available April 14."

Last gen versions breathing their last breaths, some delays or flat out cancellations. Guess they are trying to motivate the holdouts to upgrade sooner rather than later.

Meh they have already developed this game with PS3 and Xbox360 in mind so this doesn't really matter anyway.

lol my thoughts exactly. I presume there will be other similar situations later in the year (Tomb Raider?) but the games have already spent 80% of developement time with cross gen in mind so resources and optimisation for next gen have already been somewhat hampered imo.

This should be good for hardware sales though!!

People are impatient, so this will make some people who were wanting it on last gen get it on PS4/Xbox One.

Just cancel last gen version.

This game and MGS5 being cross gen was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge mistake.

So that every game flops commercially like dying light or evolve. The Evil within outsold both of these with 3.2 million sold and so did almost every other cross-gen game

Just cancel the damn thing...
