Who the fuck is talking about Wii U? Companies think of profits, not how good people would think it is. The main focus of Level-5 will be the 3DS. A PS4 game is also in the works, but we have no idea what it is.

Youkai Watch 3, Fantasy Life 2 and Layton will most likely all be on the 3DS. Putting the next Youkai Watch on an install base of 1 million with increased development costs just screams stupid. Youkai Watch 3 could sell 4-5 million copies in Japan only.

There are people here saying they want a Wii U game by Level 5 and I'm saying it would be a better company decision by them to make it on PS4.

PS4 > Wii U

3DS > Vita, in terms of sales.

Also he was talking about console games, so why did you even bother bring up the 3DS? If they are going to make a Yokai Watch MMO it'll most likely be on a console and not on a handheld.

Why are you going on about a Youkai Watch MMO? Have you even watched footage of this game? Hint: it's impossible to play without a touch screen. It's incorperated into the whole battle system.

Haha, I knew you if you brought up sales it would only be in Japan, it doesn't matter, if a Yokai Watch Game came out for PS4 and Wii U, the PS4 version would outsell it worldwide.

It's pretty clear you're talking about a game you have no idea about. 

Youkai Watch is a Japanese franchise and there is no way to know if this will even be remotely succesful in the West. The battle system of Youkai Watch revolves around touch screen controls. You're risking alienating an entire fanbase by changing the game so much just to get it on the PS4 which has an extremely small Japanese userbase.

Oh and that's why the have plans to bring the 3DS games to the west? The original game was planned on consoles so stop talking like they can't make it work on PS4. Alienating the entire fanbase? How is making a spin off of the game with the original games still coming to 3DS alienating? Lol wow.

Where did I say this game is going to fail in the West? I said its success is by no means a guarantee. It's highly unlikely this will be as succesful as in Japan. But news flash, 3DS also has a bigger userbase in the West.
